Initially you stay either in one of the luxury hotels or in a nomad tent off the beaten track. The destinations are the oases of Tozeur, Nefta and Douz in the southern part of the country.

The oasis Tozeur has become the playground of Hollywood directors and is the capital of the date palm region. A ride in a horse-drawn carriage lets you discover the charm of this oasis with its approximately 400.000 date palms and some 200 springs. In addition there is a good selection of 3, 4 and 5-star hotels with conference facilities for up to 600 participants. Tozeur is ideally situated to explore the neighbouring oases as well as the desert with its ever-changing features.

The beautiful and geologically interesting mountain oases are at a height of 900m in the region of Djebel en Negueb, a part of the Atlas Mountains. Close by and surrounded by an unspoilt landscape of sand dunes lies the largest salt lake in northern Africa, where mirages are a common occurrence.
